This edition of the PRO palette line is highly loved and rated (4.5 stars out of almost 500 reviews on the Ulta website). It features 8 shimmer shades and 8 matte shades to give an endless amount of makeup looks. This is a great collection of shades for makeup artists and beginners alike as it features plenty of neutral colors that can be used year round. Here are the shade names for the top row (mattes): Blanc, Canvas, Cool Taupe, Pink Nude, Clay, Terracotta, Dark Brown, and Jet Black. The bottom row (shimmers) includes: Light Gold, Almond Pearl, Medallion, Light Pewter, Amethyst, Rose Bronze, Dark Mocha, and Truffle. You also receive a mini Behind The Scenes Primer with this palette.

Clinique 3-Step Introduction Kit –  I have become a huge fan of Clinique for the past year, especially as I’ve learned how my skin type can change throughout the different seasons. This brand has become a staple in my skincare routine, whether my skin is feeling extra dry in the winter or slippery and oily in the summer. I included it in my winter skincare blog post hereIn fact, my love for this brand started after I purchased one of these introduction kits during Ulta’s 21 Days of Beauty last year. Clinique skincare features a numbering system to help you determine which products would be best for you. Generally, it goes from very dry-1 to oily-4. (See the chart below). Each kit includes a facial soap, toner, and moisturizer. Also, don’t forget to scroll down to see Freebie Alerts for an even better deal!

Stila All Day Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner – This is my holy grail eyeliner that I have been using for several years. It’s longevity and high pigmentation make it worthwhile for me even at full price, so you can best believe I will be stocking up! This product is tried and true through long work days and even unforgiving weather. It’s waterproof and glides along the skin without skipping. I also appreciate that the thin marker-tip makes perfecting a cat-eye look much easier. I usually purchase it in the shade intense black.  I shared some info about limitations on how many items you can purchase during the sale in my previous blog post here, so don’t forget to check that out if you plan on stocking up on this deal too! I’ve included a few pics of me wearing this eyeliner, but you can pretty much bet that every picture of me on my Instagram features it, since honestly wear this everyday.

Tips for Ulta’s 21 Days of Beauty

Tips for Ulta’s 21 Days of Beauty

It’s that time of year, folks! I swear I just finished writing my last blog post about the Museum of Ice Cream (check it out here) and after a quick *blink* it’s suddenly March! But that’s ok, because March is the time to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day, March Madness, and …. Ulta’s 21 Days of Beauty.

What is the Ulta 21 Days of Beauty Event?

For those who are unfamiliar, Ulta hosts this promotional event yearly. For 21 days, Ulta has special deals on a wide variety of makeup, skin, and hair products. This year, the sale begins tomorrow, March 18 and runs through April 7. Now during this promotional period, Ulta offers Hot Buys and Beauty Steals. Hot Buys are sale items that are honored for the entirety of the 21 days or until supplies last, which can actually be quite brief for popular items. Hot Buys can be up to 40% off the retail price. Beauty Steals, however, are only valid for that particular day so just like a beauty burglar, you have to act fast! These steals are until supplies last as well and can be up to 50% off the retail value.

Are the promotions in-store or online?

You can shop in-store or online. However, some items are only available at a discounted price online. They are usually advertised as such on their website, so keep your eyes open!

What about shipping?

If you have Platinum or Diamond status within Ulta’s Ultimate Rewards Program, the beauty steals will ship free along with any other items you include in your order (sale items or not). Otherwise Ulta’s website usually has a $50 order minimum in order to qualify for free standard shipping. *Pro-Tip: Whether you are part of Ulta’s Rewards Program or not, don’t forget to take advantage of Ebates. This is a cash back program that I have been using for years! This is in addition to any cash back that you may already receive from your credit card. What a great way to sweeten your deals! Check out Ebates or sign up by clicking here.

Are there free gifts with purchase (GWP)?

Absolutely! This is one Ulta benefit that dominates over other competitors’ like Sephora. With any online purchase on the Ulta Website, you receive a free pack of 3 samples or so. You can pick from hair, skincare, or a variety sampler. Also, make sure to check out the GWP page here to see if your purchase qualifies for even more freebies. Keep in mind that the gifts with purchase often require that you buy a specific brand and may have a minimum purchase amount to qualify. In addition to this, Ulta often has other surprise GWP offers or “beauty breaks” so watch out for these too!

Can I apply coupons to these sale item?

Unfortunately, you cannot apply any additional promo codes or coupons to the Daily Steals or Hot Buys. However, if you add additional items to your cart that are not part of these promos, you can apply a coupon to them. (Be sure to read the specific coupon for additional exclusions though). For example, as I compose this post, you can apply coupon code 642971 to receive $3.50 off a qualifying $15 purchase. *Excludes salon and Benefit Brow Bar services, fragrance, prestige brands of cosmetics & skincare, some prestige brands of haircare & nail, Dyson, Morphe, Beauty Steals® Beauty Deals™ and clearance.

Is there a limit to how many items I can purchase?

This is a great question if you plan on stocking up on staple items that you use all year round! For me, this would apply to eyeliner, eyebrow pencils, and skincare items that are holy grails for my routine. (I’ll share these sale picks in my next blog posts so keep an eye out!) The answer is yes. Each customer is limited to 2 per sale item. However, online, you are limited to 2 per shade. For example, if you are a big fan of the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz, you may purchase 2 in the shade Medium Brown, 2 in Ebony, 2 in Chocolate, and 2 in Taupe online. Alternatively, if you were to go to an Ulta store, you are limited to only 2 Brow Wiz items, regardless of shades. *Pro-Tip: Ladies (and gentlemen), if you want to stock up on a particular item, this is a good time to convince your significant other to take a romantic date to Ulta with you, so they can purchase 2 of an item, and you can purchase your 2.

Now who’s ready for some Hot Buys and Beauty Steals?!

Top Picks For the Nordstrom Half-Yearly Sale

Top Picks For the Nordstrom Half-Yearly Sale

I may be thousands of miles away right now, but I can’t help it – The Nordstrom Half-Yearly Sale is going on back home in the U.S., so I had to take a peak at the selection. As usual, there are thousands of pages of items online, so I’m rounding up my top picks! I’ve included items that I already have and think are worthwhile (especially at these promotional prices) as well as new items I’m planning to add to my closet. Take a look below!

Steve Madden – Gabbie Thich High Boot

Original Price: $129.95 – Was: $99.90 – Now: $77.96 (40% off)

Mini review: I highly recommend these thigh high boots! I purchased these last week at a higher price as a last minute grab before I left for my trip, and they have been great to have so far! The low 2″ stacked heel is comfortable for walking while the thigh high style is great for going out. This has been a solid pick when going to to grab drinks/dinner and walking to the metro station here in Hong Kong. The suede shaft itself is rather narrow, which keeps the boot from falling but does make it a bit tricky to put on, especially if you’re wearing pants. I sized up by half a size (normally wear a size 6 but got a 6.5). Check it out here

BP. Rib Trim Long Cardigan

Original Price: $49 – Now: $29.90 (35% off)

Every closet needs a staple long cardigan to quickly throw on. I really like this in the beige oatmeal medium heather color. I would recommend to size down.  Check it out here

Leith Easy Circle Cardigan

Original Price: $75 – Now: $44.98 (40% off)

This might be the winning pick that I add to my closet! I love the rounded hem, which gives the sweater a nicer silhouette, especially to help better frame my petite stature. Plus, the pink adobe is a great way to stay neutral but add a bit of color to an outfit, especially as spring approaches. Again, I would size down. Check it out here

BP. Twist Hem Tee

Original Price: $29 – Now: $18.90 (35% off)

I like how this top literally puts a twist on a basic piece (pun intended haha). This is cute by itself, but I’ll probably find myself wearing it under one of the long cardigans featured above. The page says true to size, but I’ll size down to an XXS. Check it out here

Elly Wrap Dress

Original Price: $49 – Now: $29.40 (40% off)

This is a great versatile piece that you can dress up or down. I like that the flowers add some color, making this a good transition piece as the season changes. The wrap style is also very easy to throw on and comfortable to wear. Pair it with heels for the office or throw on a leather or denim jacket for a more laid back look with booties. Check it out here

Leith Bell Sleeve Sheath Dress

Original Price: $69 – Now: $34.50 (50% off)

This is where trendy meets smart! The navy color, stretch crepe material, and tailored cut make this office appropriate while still incorporating this season’s fun bell sleeve. This would also make a great outfit pick for any upcoming graduations in the Spring. Check it out here

MAC Snow Ball Prep + Prime Fix+ Kit

Value $36 – Original Price: $20 – Now: $15 (25% off)

I’m quickly ordering before it sells out again. Over the past few months, MAC fans have been seeing this well-loved kit come and go due to its popularity. It’s fun way to try out a MAC cult favorite in 3 different scents: coconut, rose, and lavender. Luckily, I’ve heard that these scents will soon be available in full size, but I prefer this kit of travel-friendly sizes. Check it out here

MAC Glow Kit (Nordstrom Exclusive)

Value: $90 – Original Price: $59.50 – Now $33.75 (40% off)

This is quite a beauty bargain!  This set includes an Extra Dimension Skinfinish in either the shade Beaming Blush (my pick) or Doublegleam, a mini strobe cream, and a MAC 127 split fibre  brush. Thus brush alone is normally $35. The Extra Dimension Skinfinish is a buildable highlighter that can also be used lightly for an all-over glow. Check it out here

*Pro Tips: As usual with Nordstrom, keep checking back online if the size/color/item you want is out of stock. Nordstrom does a wonderful job of refreshing their site frequently during these sales, so there is a chance your item will become available again. Also, don’t forget to maximize your savings by taking advantage of any promotions through your credit cards. For example, for those without the Nordstrom card, I believe the Chase Freedom card is offering 5% cash back on department store purchases.

Happy shopping! What are your picks for this sale?

‘Tis the Season to be … Moisturized?!

‘Tis the Season to be … Moisturized?!

It’s that time of year… The leaves fall, the weather cools, and my skin suddenly transforms from being super oily (mainly in the T-zone) to super dry.  I also travel frequently over the holidays, which takes a toll on my skin. This year, I’m trying to be more proactive about keeping my skin hydrated with a few key products:

Screen Shot 2017-12-11 at 8.12.54 PM

Cleanse: Neutrogena Hydroboost Hydrating Cleansing Gel

Find it at Ulta – Retail Price $8.99

I tried this on a whim after receiving it in a free gift bag from Ulta a few months back and have been obsessed since. I like to use this to take off my makeup when showering. It leaves your skin feeling smooth and more plump. Definitely a winner at its drugstore price point.

Tone: Clinique Clarifying Lotion – 3 and 4

Find it at Belk – Retail Price $24.50 (13.5oz)

Current promotion at Belk – Buy 4 or more beauty items, save 25%

Applying toner may seem to be a frivolous step, but it’s a game changer for your skincare routine. Clinique offers a great variety of toners, depending on your skin’s needs. The numbering system goes from 1 (very dry) to 4 (oily). I alternate between 3 and 4 since my T-zone tends to be oiler year round. I use a cotton round to apply toner, which really helps to remove any residual makeup, dirt, and oil that my face wash missed. This step also helps to exfoliate any dead skin cells.

Screen Shot 2017-12-11 at 8.48.56 PMPrep: May Coop Raw Sauce

Hurry – Find it at Costco ! – Retail Price $43.00 (full size) – Costco Price: $22.99

I picked up a mini, 40ml bottle ($14.00) of this while waiting in the Sephora checkout line about 2 years ago. I had no idea what it did, but the name sounded pretty awesome, and it had a 5 star-rating online. Since this random buy, I have re-purchased the mini bottle at least 5 times.  It really works! Sadly, as I was preparing to finally splurge on a full size bottle during the semi-annual Sephora VIB Rouge Sale, I found out that Sephora stopped carrying this product. Thankfully, you can find it on the Costco website for a limited time at an even better discount. I’ve definitely stocked up! This stuff is amazing!  It’s basically a maple water essence that hydrates and plumps the skin, which really helps to improve absorption and increase the efficacy of subsequent products (e.g. moisturizers, serums, eye creams). I like to think of it as a “booster.” for whatever else you layer on top.

2253558Moisturize (Night): Clinique Moisture Surge Overnight Mask

Find it at Belk – Retail Price $35.00 (full size)

Current promotion at Belk – Buy 4 or more beauty items, save 25%

Normally, when I think of masks, I think about having to leave something on and then wash it off some time later. That’s where I get a bit lazy at night… I prefer to apply a product and be done without having to worry about it smearing onto my pillowcase, getting into my hair, etc. This Clinique mask is perfect for a bedtime regimen, because you can apply it onto your clean face and let it sink into your skin overnight. It’s oil-free and helps to soothe your skin as you get your beauty sleep, so you can wake up feeling moisturized.

Moisturize (Day): Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel

Find it at Belk – Retail Price $27.00 (full size)

Current promotion at Belk – Buy 4 or more beauty items, save 25%

This is a great, lightweight moisturizer that is perfect for daytime. It absorbs quickly and is also oil-free, so your face won’t feel greasy throughout the day. I like to start off with this prior to applying any makeup.

Screen Shot 2017-12-11 at 9.35.01 PMMoisturize (Lips): Kopari Coconut Lip Love

Find it at Sephora – Retail Price $12.00

This is a great coconut lip balm that is formulated with anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties to nourish and hydrate lips. It adds a nice shine without feeling sticky. I usually use this at night. I’m also allergic to certain lip products, so I appreciate that this is formulated without silicone, gluten, petroleum, or synthetic fragrances.

Prime: Make Up Forever Step 1 Skin Equalizer Hydrating Primer

Find it at Sephora – Travel Size: $17.00 (better deal than the full size)

If you plan to apply foundation, this is a great primer to help prep your skin. It helps to prevent makeup from emphasizing dry patches and keeps you from looking cakey. Oddly, the full size costs more per ounce, so opt for the smaller travel size to try or to take on-the-go.

Give the gift of luxury this holiday season without breaking the bank! We all have friends and family members on our gift list who would appreciate a little something special this year. Maybe it’s your sister who can be a little “extra” with her designer style, but you don’t want to pay extra to impress her. Maybe it’s that friend who already has everything. Maybe it’s that co-worker to whom you have no idea what to give. Whoever it may be, here are some ideas on luxury gifts for less than $100 and personal tips on how to make them even more special.

Home and Miscellaneous Gifts

Tiffany Crystal Champagne Flutes (Set of 2)

Retail Price: $50

There is always something so special about giving or receiving a gift in that iconic blue box! I have personally gifted Tiffany champagne flutes, wine glasses, and beer glasses to friends for numerous occasions. They’re perfect for weddings, house warming parties, corporate events, etc. It’s the perfect balance between elegance and practicality.  They also have porcelain coffee mugs, which make beautiful gifts for co-workers or teachers. Plus, the presentation will always be on point! Keep in mind that other than the flagship store in New York City, most Tiffany and Co boutiques do not carry houseware. However, customer service is excellent, and they are offering free shipping for online or phone orders. You can peruse through the different gift options on the company website at Tiffany and Co.

Scented Candles by diptyque

Retail Price for 6.5oz: $64 – Retail Price for 2.4oz: $34

Let’s be real. No matter how you put it, these are pricey. However, scents are actually influential parts of our lives. Certain smells can help to de-stress, set a mood/ambiance, or even bring back special memories! A couple years back, my husband and I were having afternoon tea at Sketch in London where they were burning a massive diptyque candle in Ambre. Now whenever I come across this scent, I’m taken back to our fun experience at Sketch. This gift, however, can be far more than just a candle. As pictured above, once you’ve burned through all the wax, the glass jar can easily be re-used as a display piece on your desk or vanity. The standard 6.5oz jars are perfect for holding makeup brushes, pens, little flowers, etc. The mini 2.4oz jar is more of a votive candle size and is cute to hold smaller trinkets like paper clips, cotton balls, and Q-tips.  Browse the different scents at Diptyque

Louis Vuitton City Guide

Retial Price: $37

These city guides are great gifts for the jet setters on your list. I have collected these over the past few years for different cities that I’ve ventured to. The history of Louis Vuitton is rich in travel as he first built his fashion house by revolutionizing the design of flat-botom trunks to be stackable, lightweight, and airtight.  These city guides provide lists and addresses of recommended hotels, shopping attractions, dining,  experiences, etc. I like to track and highlight any of the places that I end up checking out on my trips. Also, the latest versions now include a mobile app so you can take your LV guide on the go wherever you are.  You can purchase them at LV boutiques or online on the company website at Louis Vuitton

Personalized Candy Bento Boxes by Sugarfina

Pricing may vary (see below)

This isn’t your run of the mill, box of chocolates. At Sugarfina, you can customize your own box of treats! While pricing may slightly vary depending on what flavors you pick, you can expect a 3-piece bento box to cost about $25 and the 8-piece to be about $64. Some of my favorite flavors include champagne bears, rosé all day bears, and maple bourbon caramels.  Have a taste at Sugarfina

Kate Spade Large 2018 Planner

Retail Price: $36

Add a little glam to each day from August 2017 to December 2018. This is perfect for that working girl or student on your list! This Kate Spade planner organizes your schedule monthly and weekly. It features laminated tabs for durability, foiled stickers, note pages, and a pocket to hold business cards, receipts, etc. This is where ritzy meets reliability! Find it here at Kate Spade. If you sign up for the email list, you can receive 15% off and free shipping.

Slip Pure Silk Pillowcase

Retail Price for Queen: $79 – King: $99

Okay, so I will be totally honest when I say that this is one luxury item I haven’t tried out yet, because I haven’t quite convinced myself to take the leap on the investment. BUT there are good reasons as to why these pillowcases receive stellar reviews, and why I know it’s only a matter of time before I give it a go. After all, we spend a huge portion of our lives in bed. Laying on silk instead of cotton pillowcases can really help to combat bed head. Since I often curl my hair with a styling wand, I’m hopeful that this would help my hair from losing volume and turning flat again overnight. Cotton pillowcases also tend to absorb more moisture and product from your face. So that moisturizer or eye cream you put on your face may end up protecting your pillow from anti-aging more than you. Beauty / Fashion

Halogen Cashmere Infinity Scarf

Retail Price: $99 – Sale Price: $74.25 (25% off)

This is one size fits all, which takes a lot of guessing out of this gift. Plus, being 100% cashmere, it’s super soft and warm. There are six different colors to choose from at Nordstrom and free shipping.

– 0.11 oz/ 2.5 mL Cat Lashes  (Value: $16.50)
– 0.17 oz/ 5 mL Fresh Glow Deluxe Mini in Nude Radiance No.1 (Value: $8.16)
– 0.002 oz/ 0.8 g Lip Velvet Deluxe Mini in Oxblood (Value: $8.23)

Hermes The Garden Perfumes Collection

Retail Price: $80

Known for their high-end luxury goods, this Hermes set includes three travel-size fragrances inspired by gardens from around the world.

CHANEL Les 4 Ombres Multi-Effect Quadra Eyeshadow

Retail Price: $61

Needless to say, CHANEL is always a good idea. These eyeshadow quads offer a pigmented formula inspired by the threads of Chanel tweed. Each set includes two medium tones to color and contour, a deep shade to intensify, and a lighter shade to highlight. This is also a great gift to re-purpose once the eyeshadows are used up. Leave a comment below if you would like me to share a tutorial on how to make this compact into an external power bank for your cellphone!

Holiday Travel Series: CALPAK Marble Carry-On Review

Holiday Travel Series: CALPAK Marble Carry-On Review

It’s safe to say that it’s officially holiday season, and for many of us, this also means planning for upcoming travels to spend time with our loved ones! I travel quite frequently year round, so I’ve been putting the CALPAK Astyll 22-inch rolling carry-on to the test over the past six months.  Keep reading if your looking for a new luggage or thinking of gift ideas for a frequent traveler on your list!

First off, I’m a sucker for anything marble, so this piece immediately caught my eye.  The color is called Milk Marble. However, aesthetics aside, this CALPAK carry-on has made traveling such a breeze… literally! I realized that this was a winner when I found myself sprinting through Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) to catch the last flight out for the night, and this luggage made it so much easier! I was still sweating bullets, but I wasn’t being held back by my luggage. It has eight, multidirectional wheels that allow this carry-on to glide over various types of flooring effortlessly.

This carry-on measures 14 ½” wide, x 20″ high, x 9″ deep. The hard shell itself is sleek, durable, and lightweight. The telescoping pull handle is a petite girl’s dream! Standing just under 5 feet, I prefer to keep the handle at a lower setting, which brings it up to 11″ from the top of the luggage.  However, you can definitely extend the handle farther to 19″ from the top of the luggage.  There are also rubberized top and side carry handles, which makes lifting this into a car trunk or overhead bin much easier. The zip-around closure has integrated TSA lock for which you can set your own three-digit numeric code. Lastly, you have the option to unzip an expansion sleeve when you find yourself needing to pack extra.

I’ve included pictures of things I brought for a weekend trip, so you can see how much this carry-on holds. Despite packing a few casual and dressy outfits, there was still quite a bit of room if I wanted to pack more. There’s a zipper divider that creates two separate packing compartments. I prefer to keep my clothes on this left side. The right side features an elastic belt to hold your belongings in place. This is where I tend to pack my shoes, makeup bag, toiletry bag, and hair curler. There is also a zippered pouch that runs vertically down the middle of the luggage. I may place undies or jewelry in here.

What I packed:

  • unnamed-11Pair of jeans
  • Pair of leggings
  • Wool sweater (thicker)
  • Cotton sweater
  • Sweatshirt
  • Puffer vest
  • White cotton tee
  • Black cotton tee
  • White satin top
  • Light pink satin top
  • Bra (I didn’t feature my socks and undies, but I promise I usually pack them too)
  • Lace midi dress
  • Heels
  • Booties
  • Sneakers
  • Curling wand
  • Toiletry bag
  • Makeup bag

Where to find this and other options.

I purchased mine at Nordstrom with free shipping and easy returns. It retails for $125.00. There is also another color called Midnight Marble. For those who are looking for a check-in size luggage as well, there is a set that includes a 30″ and a 22″ luggage for $265.00. Other than the company site, I’ve also seen other websites carry this recently. Check out Urban Outfitters, Francesca’s, and Shopbop.

Happy travels!

Black Friday 2017: Nordstrom Picks

Black Friday 2017: Nordstrom Picks

Even as an avid shopper, Black Friday can get quite overwhelming very quickly. Seeing hundreds of pages of sale items on the Nordstrom site seems jarring, so I’m hoping to take some of the stress out of this much anticipated day for shopping lovers.  Though I tend to spend more of my time on shopping at retailers offering deeper discounts, I’ve come to learn that it’s also just as important not to overlook good deals on high quality, staple items that I enjoy year round. Here’s a list of my top picks:

Outerwear / Sweaters

TopShop Nina Faux Fur Collar Double Breasted Coat

Original Price: $125.00 – Was: $82.99 – Now: $66.39

I’ve been eyeing this statement piece for several weeks now as it’s been popping up on a couple of my YouTube and Instagram favorites. So when I received an email from Nordstrom early this week that the price dropped to $82.99, I rushed to my local Nordstrom after work to try it on and bring it home! Today, I’m pleasantly surprised to see that the price is now even better. Thank goodness for Nordstrom’s excellent price adjustment policy! It’s a bit long for my slightly sub-5′ frame as it hits right under my knees. However, I still it’s worthwhile to keep without altering for this price. I sized up (US 4) so I can layer warmer pieces underneath as I plan to brave very cold weather conditions in Europe this holiday season. It looks great with sneakers and leggings underneath, or I plan to add a Chanel brooch to elevate the look. The faux fur collar is also detachable, which provides more versatility. Overall, you definitely cannot go wrong with this piece. I can’t wait to post OOTD ideas with it soon.

BLANKNYC Faux Leather Jacket

Original Price: $98.00 – Was: $64.90 – Now: $51.92

I own this jacket in two colors already (black and light pink), and I cannot say enough good things about it.  I purchased this piece at the retail price, but it has proven to be a wonderful investment, and this new color is perfect for Fall. The faux leather is durable but still soft and comfortable to move around in. Personally, I find the cut to be its best trait – the zipper detailing provides a more feminine cut that flatters your frame, unlike many boxy leather jackets.

Halogen Long Open Front Cardigan

Original Price: $79.00 – Was: $49.00 – Now: $39.92

There’s not much to say with this piece – Who doesn’t love to snuggle in a long cardy? I especially appreciate these pieces when I want to stay super comfy at work. You can throw this on top of a simple camisole with tailored work pants and heels. You’ll be comfortable all day but still look put together.

Tory Burch Classic Chronograph Bracelet Watch, 37.5mm

Original Price: $395.00 – Was: $236.98 – Now: $189.58

This is another piece that I can definitely vouch for. I have owned this watch in a different color combination for a couple years now and have been wearing it daily for work and play. I’m not into dainty watches, so I love the sporty look of the chronograph.  Although this is more of a fashion piece, I have been quite impressed with the quality. My biggest annoyance/disappointment with watches that I’ve owned (and eventually sold) from other brands is that the metal coating below the wrist would wear off. Notably, I’ve had this happen to Marc Jacobs or Michael Kors gold and rose gold watches. With this Tory Burch piece, the metal  holds up much better! This is great for watch wearers who also spend a lot of time on the computer because that’s often a leading culprit for having the metal plating wear off.

Kate Spade New York Bright Idea Stud Earrings

Basic yet glam. I don’t change my earrings much, so it’s always great to have a classic pair that will literally match any outfits from sweats to ball gowns. This would also make a great gift for anyone on your holiday list!

BP Stone Fringe Pendant Necklace

Original Price: $20.00 – Was: $11.98 – Now: $9.58

What a steal! This is another great piece to keep or share as a stocking stuffer! You can easily throw this on a basic sweater or a shift dress to elevate the look.

Beauty / Gifts

MAC Retro Matte Lipcolour

Price: $21.00 (Value: $42.00)

With so many great beauty deals lately, it takes quite a deep discount to catch my bargain-loving eye. This is definitely one of those great deals. You basically get a liquid lipstick for free, and a 50% is excellent for MAC!

Kate Spade Insulated Tumblers

Original Price: $18.00 – Now: $12.60 (price matched deal)

Elevate your morning routine with any of these tumblers from Kate Spade. These make really cute gifts for anyone who can add a little glam to their morning cup of joe. Plus, this would look great on any desk!

Himalayan Trading Post – Candle Making Kit

Original Price: $39.99 – Now: $29.99

I saw this and immediately thought how great this would be as a Christmas gift. My husband and I took a candle making class once, and surprisingly it was pretty fun! This would be a cool at-home version that we could give to another couple or to anyone who likes DIY projects.

Happy shopping!
